Comprehensive Major

Thirty-six (36) semester hours of credit required for a major in Drafting and Design must include course work in each of the following:

1. Beginning drafting;

2. Intermediate drafting;

3. Advanced drafting;

4. Introduction to drafting assisted by computer;

5. Drafting assisted by computer;

6. Architectural and mechanical drafting;

7. Reading blueprints;

8. Inking and office practice in drafting;

9. Scheduling construction cost;

10. Beginning technical drafting;

11. Intermediate technical drafting; and

12. Advanced technical drafting.

Comprehensive Minor

Twenty-four (24) semester hours of credit required for a minor in Drafting and Design must include course work in each of the following:

1. Beginning drafting;

2. Intermediate drafting;

3. Introduction to drafting assisted by computer;

4. Drafting assisted by computer;

5. Home planning and design;

6. Architectural drafting; and

7. Mechanical drafting.
