To receive a secondary license, a
person must hold a bachelor’s degree
and have completed:
-
A
program of preparation for
teaching in the secondary grades
approved by the Board; or
-
Required courses for a teaching
major from a regionally
accredited institution; and
-
Twenty-two semester hours of
credit as follows:
-
Eight semester hours of
supervised teaching;
-
A course in the methods and
materials of teaching a
field of specialization; and
-
Any other courses in
secondary education approved
by the Commission.
