To
receive a secondary license, a
person must hold a bachelor's degree
and have completed:
1. A program of preparation for
teaching in the secondary grades
approved by the State Board of
Education; or
2.
Required courses for a
teaching major from a regionally
accredited institution; and
3. Twenty-two (22) semester credits
in professional secondary or
occupational education, as follows:
1. Eight (8) semester credits of supervised
teaching.
2. A course in the methods and materials of
teaching a field of specialization.
